Product Manufacturing
TCS develops and manufactures a range of analogue, digital, and microprocessor based products to service the manufacturing and process industries. Over the last few years TCS has increased its manufacturing of it's own innovative products in response to it's customers needs for total automation solutions.
Alongside the manufacturing of it's own products, TCS also designs, develops and manufactures products for and in collaboration with outside engineering manufacturers (“OEMs”) under the OEM’s own brand names.
Printed Circuit Broad Design
TCS provides printed circuit board (PCB) design expertise and services. TCS uses PROTEL for single, double and multi-layer boards as plated through-hole (PTH), surface mounted technology (SMT), or leaded components. TCS can produce PCBs in compliance with RoHS standards.
Electronic Design
TCS provides an electronic design service for digital, analogue and microprocessor development. Microprocessor development ranges from 8 bit to 32 bit and the TCS clients come from a broad range of manufacturers.
Software Engineering
TCS provides software engineering capabilities for microprocessor and PLD development as well as high level programming to IT databases. TCS has a very wide range of software programming languages and capabilities that allows TCS to develop products to suit almost any application.

Research & Development
An important part of TCS is its research and development investment and capabilities in leading edge technologies to provide advanced and robust solutions, products and services. Since 1990 TCS has been carrying out research and development on technologies such as DeviceNet / CAN for distributed I/O applications, and distributed control, and since 2000 EtherNet/IP and distributed intelligence for track and control applications.
TCS also carries out research and development for engineering manufacturers and provides the expertise and development capabilities to enable partner or 3rd party companies to take products from proof of concept to prototyping and right on through to commercialisation. TCS works closely with the engineering manufacturers to design innovative control solutions that will fit both their application needs and their budgets.
TCS has been and is a world leader in research and development into technologies such as DeviceNet, Distributed I/O, Distributed Control, Distributed Intelligence, and IEC-61499 Function Block Programming. TCS continues to push forward with leading edge technology advancement and is currently working towards HOLONIC control concepts.
